Getting in a car in T&T should never be a gamble. TakeMeThere exists because a ride should be something you can account for — before it starts, while it moves, and after it ends. Here is exactly how that works, in the order it happens.
Every driver is checked first.
Nobody accepts a single trip on TakeMeThere until they have passed identity and vehicle checks — full KYC on the person and the car they will be driving.
- Driver identity and vehicle verification before their first trip, not after.
- When you are matched, you see the driver's name, their vehicle and their rating before they arrive.
- You confirm it is the right person and the right car before you get in.
Help is in the app while the ride moves.
From pickup to drop-off, you can see when your driver arrives, talk to them in the app, and reach for help at any moment.
- A live ETA countdown, using current traffic, shows when your driver arrives.
- Send your driver's name, plate and vehicle by message to someone you trust.
- An SOS button sits inside every active ride: call police or ambulance, text your emergency contact with your location, or contact support.
- Chat with your driver in the app to sort out pickup details.
Nothing disappears when the ride ends.
The trip record stays available so any concern can be looked into properly, and a real person answers when you write in.
