Pre-book up to a week ahead for the regular runs, and cancel for free until an hour before if plans change. Add several stops to drop one person and carry on to the next.

Safety for the whole family

  • Set an emergency contact in Profile.
  • Every active ride has an SOS button: call police or ambulance, text your emergency contact with your location, or contact support.
  • Send your driver's name, plate and vehicle by message to someone you trust.
  • Drivers have their identity, documents and vehicle checked before their first trip.

Be found easily

Add an optional rider profile photo. It is shown to the driver only after they accept your ride, so the driver finds you. Use ride preferences for bags, a pet or a note to the driver.

Wallet and family

Pay cash in TT$ or from your wallet. Top up by card in the app or at takemethere.taxi/topup, and send wallet credit or gift codes to family and friends.

Can I pre-book the school run?

You can pre-book up to a week ahead and cancel for free until an hour before.

Can I send ride credit to a family member?

Yes. You can send wallet credit to family and friends, and gift codes.

What does my driver see about me?

If you add an optional profile photo, the driver sees it only after they accept your ride.

What if I feel unsafe?

Use the SOS button in the ride to call police or ambulance, text your emergency contact with your location, or contact support.
